AMP Beta 'Mimas' - Release Notes

'Mimas' is our first public release of AMP, we're very excited to show you some of what we've been working on over the last year!

AMP Status Update - March 2015 #2

It's Happening!

At this point we're mostly happy with how AMP itself is going to behave for the immediate release. There will be a lot of things not quite working right (especially in the plugins) - but once the first version is out we'll be doing very frequent updates with all the progress we make. Right now we're working on the stuff to let you actually use AMP and get it running.

As things get closer to release, more of the work being done revolves around how new AMP instances are going to be created and set up.

Fewer pretty pictures this time, most of the work is under-the-hood stuff right now as we start cleaning things up:

AMP Status Update - Feb 2015 #1

As AMP get's closer to a viable release, more and more of the stuff we're doing becomes polishing of edges and getting working backend functions exposed to the user interface. So most of the stuff this week has been tweaks and gradual improvements. For this update we're also including a few screenshots so you can get a feel for how it's looking.

Over the last two weeks we've made a huge amount of progress adding support for new applications, and improving ones we've already started.

We're marching along with AMP, pushing along with new functionality and cleaning up existing code. So here's what we've been working on for the last week and a bit:

Designing AMP Modules - Part 1

This is my first blog post writing for Cube Coders, I've been working on AMP since October, and this series of blog posts will talk about the creation of AMP modules.

I've worked on pretty much all of the AMP modules and have to admit they're pretty fun to write. I'll be talking about about the general layout of an AMP module in this post and later on will talk more in depth about how AMP modules work.

The status of AMP - What's done, and what's still to be done.

This is the first of what will hopefully become a weekly item in which I'll be going over the work we're currently doing in AMP in terms of what has been done, and what is still to do.

To start off with, rather than try and go over everything that we want to try and do in AMP, I'll just be going over things we're including in the 'Minimum Feature Set' for the first public beta.
